  1.
    Help me!
I need the extra fat for   insulation in the winter.
  2. My dog uses my body as a fluffy pillow.
  3. If I lose weight, I won’t recognize myself.
  4. I’m afraid I will injure myself and others, causing my health insurance rates to go up.
  5. I need to perfect my sweating technique before I can exercise.
  6. If I become healthy, I’ll live longer, and I can’t afford to.
  7. I’m afraid of losing my wig during jumping jacks.
  8. I don’t want to ruin new workout clothes by getting sweat all over them.
  9. Being fat keeps the men away, thus preventing the awkward moment of turning down a wedding proposal.
  10. I’d rather spend quality time napping.
  11. If I can’t afford Oprah’s personal coach, I’m not going to do it.
  12. I don’t like the way my boobs bounce while running.
  13. That’s not true.  I can’t run.
  14. I don’t look good in sweat.
  15. I’m not coordinated enough to do sit-ups and eat ice cream at the same time.

Jotthoughts

These are the ramblings of a woman determined to prove there is life after 50 for women who are unmarried, divorced, or widowed, and choose to live alone. This is my journey through life. It is filled with memories, dreams, hopes, disappointments, failures, and faith. Walk with me as I explore each day with questions and observations, remembrances and thoughts, all in a jot.
